All About Kangana Ranaut’s Reality show Lock Upp

 Day by Day More and More actors are choosing OTT Path to remain in the industry and get new project to showcase their talents and one more A lister of Bollywood has joined the race and she is Rebellious Actress  Kangana Ranaut. 

Kangana Ranaut’s OTT Debut with Homegrown Reality show Lock Upp is all set to release on last week February. 
Ekta Kapoor was looking for Rebellious Host for this show and she found bollywood's Controversy queen Kangana Ranaut. The makers has joined hands with MX Player to scale up the viewership by releasing it on MX Player as well as Ekta Kapoor's OTT platform Alt Balaji.

In This Show there will be total 16 contestant and they will be locked up in Jail for 72 days and to keep eye on all 16 contestant there will be one jailer who will give all reports to the Headmaster who is Kangana Ranaut. week on week Kangna will take class of all the celebrity contestant and she will have a 50 percent rights to throw anyone out from the jail and remaining 50 percent will be through audience voting system.

Rumors are there on the celebrities who can join this show as a contestant which may include  Sushmita Sen’s former boyfriend Rohman Shawl for this reality show along with his current girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill, who was lastly seen in Bigg Boss 13. also we may see Poonam Pandey as a wild card entry to Lock upp. Urfi Javed, Anushka Sen and Mallika Sherawat have also can be seen in this reality show but there has been no confirmation on the same for any of them.

Kangana Has recently shared the poster of this show on her instagram and said, "this jail will be the badass jail as everyone will be totured by me and tolerate the Atyaachaari khel!"

This show is produced by Endemol shine india the same company which had produced All the seasons of The Most controversial show Bigg Boss. we may see many similarities between these two show. To reach larger audience the makers has also releasing this on MX player along with Alt balaji and will have a mix Marketing plan to acquire new users on respective OTT Platform and also to gain initial viewership.

The Makers also have come up with a Metaverse game of this show in which viewers can also participate parallelly and win big in Metaverse platform.

Show is set to release from 27th Feb and there will be 24/7 live streaming from the jail so you can sneak anytime in also there will be special performance of Kangana Ranaut along with all 16 Participants during the first episode which is the Launch Episode. This is Purely homegrown show, there is no other foreign show like this, Lock upp is 100percent developed in india hence this will be another experiment of ekta kapoor. we have to wait till show launch to see whether ekta made the right decision or not.
