Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai celebrates 9 Years of Laughter, Love, and Liveliness!
For the past nine years, &TV's cult comedy show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, has captivated audiences with its delightful characters and uproarious storylines, making it a staple on Indian television. To commemorate its ninth anniversary this month, the show's lead, Aasif Sheikh (Vibhuti Narayan Mishra) and Vidisha Srivastava (Anita Bhabi) embarked on a visit to the renowned Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. Subsequently, the entire cast and crew came together on set for a joyous cake-cutting ceremony, marking this significant milestone in style. Talking about this momentous milestone, producer Sanjay Kohli from Edit II Productions said, “Reaching the nine-year mark is an incredible milestone, and I couldn't be prouder of everyone involved with Edit II &TV, and especially the dedicated cast and crew whose unwavering efforts have propelled our show to immense success. This achievement is a testament to the show's enduring popularity and affection for its characters. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our audience whose unwavering support has made it one of the most beloved comedy shows on television.”
Adding to this, Aasif Sheikh, essaying Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, said, “After more than three decades in the industry and playing countless characters, the love and enlightenment I have received for the character of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra are invaluable. I never thought I would portray a role for over nine years, yet Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai has surpassed that mark and aims to endure indefinitely. To celebrate this milestone, my onscreen counterpart Anita (Vidisha Srivastava) and I visited Varanasi to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva at the revered Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. While exploring the enchanting Banarasi Galli and meeting our fans, their joy overwhelmed us. We continued our celebration by gathering on set with the entire team, cutting the cake and enjoying delicious food. My feeling for this achievement can only be expressed in one word: 'blessed'.” Rohitashv Gour, essaying Manmohan Tiwari, shares, “I want to express my heartfelt congratulations to the entire team for achieving the remarkable milestone of nine successful years. This moment holds immense significance for all of us, and we celebrated it with a cake-cutting ceremony. I have a deep passion for the show, which has played a pivotal role in shaping my career and connecting me with an extraordinary audience. I can vividly recall our inaugural day of shooting together, never imagining that we would reach nine years as a team. Portraying the character of Manmohan Tiwari has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am pleased that viewers enjoyed watching me on screen. I commend our producers, cast, and crew for their unwavering dedication and hard work. I sincerely thank our audience for their steadfast love and support throughout this remarkable journey.”
Vidisha Srivastava, essaying Anita Bhabi, adds, “Our show has reached a milestone of nine years, and I am incredibly grateful to our viewers for their immense love and affection. Every character has etched a special place in the audience’s hearts, so much so the characters’ catchphrases have become a part of daily conversation parlance. I realised this when I was in Varanasi recently at Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple with my co-star Vibhu (Aasif Sheikh) to seek blessings for our show’s success and Mahashivratri. Fans met us and expressed their love for the show and each character. We also celebrated this achievement with our 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai' family on our sets, reminiscing about our journey together. The joyous memories we have created for the audience over the years are a matter of pride for our entire team. Wherever we go, our fans greet us with our funny dialogues, which are the best compliments for us. I am immensely grateful to the audience for continuously appreciating our unmatched comedy content.
We aim to keep entertaining all our viewers with more hilarious tracks in the future.” Shubhangi Atre, essaying Angoori Bhabi, concludes, “It is a big moment for us as we complete nine successful years. Essaying Angoori’s character has made me a household name, and the character continues to be the audience’s absolute favourite. I feel proud to have this opportunity. Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, and audience for making the show successful. Cheers to many more successful years!”
