The most versatile actor Rajkummar Rao is set to return as his beloved character 'Vicky' in the highly anticipated film 'Stree 2', which is a sequel of the 2018 comedy-horror movie. The OTT giant Amazon Prime Video announced recently that the film will release on their platform after its successful theatrical release. This announcement has generated immense excitement among fans and critics alike. While Rajkummar couldn't attend the event in person, his co-stars Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee shared that the sequel is only going bigger and better. 

The shooting of the sequel had begun last year. 'Stree' became one of the career-defining films for Rajkummar Rao. Not only the film shined Rao's ability to pull off comedy, but it also registered itself as one of the biggest box office blockbusters for the actor. The film showered Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee with a widespread acclaim, making them a popular face in every household.

Apart from ‘Stree 2’ , Rao has ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, ‘Sri’, ‘Guns & Gulaabs S2’ and ‘ Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ in the pipeline. While he's still shooting for 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', his films 'Sri', ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi and series 'Guns & Gulaabs S2' are set to release this year.
